If your team uses Comfy Cloud for hosted ComfyUI compute, you can store a Comfy Cloud API key on your team and (optionally) tell the platform to dispatch ComfyUI tasks there when no local agent is available. The Cloud Providers entry must appear in your sidebar. If not, this integration isn’t enabled on your deployment — contact your team admin.

Before you start

  • A Comfy Cloud account with an API key.
  • A team you belong to with admin rights.

Configure

  1. Open Cloud Providers in the sidebar.
  2. Find the Comfy Cloud card.
  3. Paste your Comfy Cloud API key into the API key field.
  4. (Optional) Toggle Use Comfy Cloud when no local agent is available.
  5. Click Save.
The dashboard stores the credential server-side; the next time you open the page only the masked key preview is shown.

What the fallback toggle does

  • Off (default). ComfyUI tasks dispatch only to local agents with matching labels. If none are online, the task stays queued.
  • On. ComfyUI tasks first try local agents, then fall back to Comfy Cloud when none are available. The credit cost is charged against your Comfy Cloud account.
The toggle is team-wide. Individual tasks don’t opt in or out.

Remove

Click Delete on the card to remove the credential entirely. The fallback turns off automatically when the credential is gone.

Rotate

To rotate, paste the new key and save. The previous key is replaced in place; there’s no transition window.
  • Workflows — where ComfyUI tasks originate.
  • Tasks — what queueing looks like when no agent is available.
